Tucked away on the first floor of the Aloft Sentral is a secret food paradise called Nook. Indulge in buffets for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner that satiate all of your senses. European, Asian, American — the best from all over the world are represented, not unlike the Olympics. Which is appropriate because eating seems to be the number one sport in Malaysia. My only complaint is that it’s hard to stop eating the cornucopia of fabulous food that surrounds you. Seriously. I went back for plate after plate like I was a district tribute gorging herself on her last night before the Hunger Games.

I had breakfast lunch and dinner at Nook and as far as I can tell they only do buffet service. The good news is, there are some solids offerings at the buffet. You’ll find lots of Malaysian delicacies like ice kachang, nasi lemak, satay with plenty of peanut sauce, Sarawak laksa, and a Rojak station(labeled«fruits in a bag»). Chinese and Western foods are also plentiful here. In the two lunches and one dinner I had here I was never offered a beverage beyond water. That struck me as slightly odd(and a couple of times I could have really used a beer or glass of wine) but that was really the only negative in my meals here.

Nook is a restaurant of Aloft KL that serves international cuisines. You will find its interior to be modern but infused nature element with huge Rafflesia paintings on the wall that make no contrast to its greenish theme, which gives a peace and comfortable atmosphere to our eyes. It serves international buffet daily for both lunch and dinner. American buffet breakfast is also available if you can make it there in the morning(which I usually can’t…). Its Sarawak laksa and Wagyu beef Rendang are the two must try foods here, as they have ranked the signature of Nook! A-la carte menu is also available from local delight char kuay tiao, to Starwood beef burger, pasta and rainbow cake. Another thing I want to highlight here is its buns in the basket that served as a palate cleanser. You will notice they are different from other restaurants as here they serve two types of buns, one in black and one in red. I love the red bun very much that I can eat 2 before the buffet started! Just try and you will know what I mean!

I visited this place some weeks ago, for a lunch with the company where I work. I have to say that I loved the place. The food was amazing, full with dozen of option for rice, meat and deserts. We went for the buffet option, but I heard that they also have a a la carte option. The staff is very nice and helpful and the service impeccable. The place has a modern interior design and it’s perfect for a working day. They have free wifi with a good speed. The place is located inside Aloft in the KL Central area.

Nook is a restaurant located inside Aloft, in the KL Sentral area. I had a very pleasant experience there a few weeks ago. I went there for lunch, and the buffet was full of great options. I couldn’t have enough of the chicken rice! I particularly enjoyed the dessert section, which offers a variety of options, including crème brulée, which is my favorite. The place was very well decorated and the environment was very cool and modern. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was spot on. Aside from the Buffet, Nook also has a la carte options, which I haven’t tried yet. Definetely worth another visit!

I’ve had a conference in Aloft hotel at KL Sentral and as a treat we were invited to have a beautiful lunch buffet at Nook. There’s a spacious area perfect for big team lunch, you have a very wide variety of different cuisines. Even people that are picky will definitely find something that they like. It is pricey, but anything that’s fancy is expensive. You won’t be able to try everything, but I would suggest to definitely try their yummy shrimps and little lemon cakes. It’s just delicious!
