I know this place is known for their tom yum, and was a little disappointed when they only had one variety. Their tom yum is made with a lot of sea food, so I opted to get the basil chicken. The basil chicken was very salty, and lacked any depth of flavor. The dish came with white rice, an egg and some chili vinegar. My chili vinegar had not one, but two BUGS floating on top! How disgusting! You can actually see them if you zoom in on the picture. Who knows how many more were mixed into my food? The Thai iced green tea was pretty good though, and the serving was so large I actually couldn’t finish it. The location of this place is a little odd, it’s located next to the Toyota dealership and there is plenty of parking. The décor inside is a bit weird, and they have curtains partitioning off what I assume to be the kitchen in the back. They have a very limited menu, so who knows why they need all that space, or what else is back there. They also have no vegetarian options at all, so leave your vegetarian friends at home if you’re coming here. There are definitely much better Thai restaurants in KL, don’t waste your money on this one.

They are situated at a pretty hidden spot that not many people will notice its presence. If you know where the Maybank building is, this restaurant is located right opposite the building, and next to a car dealer shop. This is a great place for Tom Yum fans like me. Absolute best cravings solver if you want some Tom Yum goodness. The first time I head there I practically licked the whole Tom Yum bowl clean. LOL And their Cha Keow Yen drink(Green Tea) is awesome. You can bring that drink container home with you if you can’t finish it :) It really comes in a big bottle to be honest. I haven’t really tried other food on their menu yet, but would love to do so on my next few visits. Good spot for a switch if you work nearby(around Menara UOA Bangsar) and are sick of those mamak food near the office.
