They serve great coffee. Bonus– if you need a place to sit, airconditioned, have good food, and work with very good wifi, this is the place! The staff are friendly. The food is good but I think most people come for the coffee. Not very good for large groups. However I can see a party of about four to enjoy this place comfortably. Parking is a little tough on weekdays.

Very warm, friendly and quiet place to be for a good cuppa that comes with a good and reasonable price. Owners are very dedicated and passionate with coffee beans and how they make their coffee. Worth the try!!! :)

The shop owner is very serious about their coffee matters, it’s not a business to them, it’s the burning passion that drives the shop owner to make their coffee different from other commercial brand or franchises. Not only they carefully selected the source of bean, but also to roast the coffee bean by themselves and able to impose better quality control on its taste. Another plus point is the interior and decoration of this café. Every quater the owner will do slight changes on the interior that brings little surprise to customers, such as spare their walls for local designers to display artwork, or exhibit collection of unique chairs, or saw a table into half and reconstructed each half to become a new table for usage. Occasionally the café owner will host special talk for short film sharing by local directors. All these really make this café a non-mainstream one under a unique sub-culture, which reflected in its name ~ New Black.

You must be so addicted to this place if you are interested in coffee! Well you can tell what it is with its name«coffee lab».It is a spacious coffee shop situated at the first floor(above Domino’s Pizza) which is not so visible to the public. It is a hidden gem sells specialty coffees that prepared by themselves. «Prepared by themselves» here means that the crew choose the beans and roast themselves, grind them, brew in different methods according to customer orders, and garnish with patterns. While entering the shop, you can see lots of machines and equipment that use to grind and brew the coffees. There also displays numbers of coffee beans from different countries for customer preferences. On the other corner, there are book racks full of Chinese books, some paintings and sofa which create a cozy and quiet place for people to pass their times here. Outdoor seating are also available for smokers. Now let’s talk about its coffee drinks and foods in the shop. There are various coffee drinks available with different brews through the barista machine, dripping, French press, etc. You can also choose the bean based on your flavours(as I am not really into the coffee acidity so I would avoid those beans). Each month the crew will create a new coffee drink by themselves which I think is a must try thing there! Besides, there are cookies and cakes that match your drink while having chats with others. Plus, you can also buy the coffee beans roasted by themselves! However they do not roast in a large amount so you may have to order earlier or grab it on the spot to avoid out of stock. They also provide delivery with nice packaging within Malaysia(I personally think it is a good gift for friends who love coffee)! You may follow its Facebook page for more information. Parking is free but it is quite limited especially nighttime.
