This is the perfect place to go and have the Biryani Rice dish. Mahbub restaurant is famous for this. It’s a very local restaurant and the majority of the clients are locals who live around Bangsar area.
The place is quite big. It has many tables on the sideway of the street, but if you prefer AC, you can stay inside. The food is served fast and you don’t have to wait a lot. You can order everything you want from the menu, without being afraid that you will not like it. The food is delicious.
The price is quite ok, not very expensive. The staff is nice, but you have to take care, because they don’t speak good english, so you have to make sure that they understand your order.
Overall: you have to try their main dish, at least once. I will definitely go again.

Mahbub is famous for its Biryani rice. If you need your Biryani fix (and we all know that you do have those moments.) This is definitely the place for you. The place is split into two parts, the air conditioned section and the non-​air conditioned section where you could smoke while enjoying your delicacy.
I personally would prefer to sit in the smoking section because I could enjoy my ciggie and I don’t know why, my food often tastes better there. What I have realized about this place though is that the price has increased since it first opened. Not by much but you could notice the difference. And they’re not really big when it comes to portions. Being a 6 foot individual I would often have to ask for extra rice as the rice they would normally put on my plate are meant for hobbits and dwarves (no offence to my fellowship affiliates.) But I guess all that makes up for the amazing taste!
