The specialty here, their Chicken Nest Bao, is quite a hit and people come all over the Klang Valley to try it so do be prepared that this place will be crowded during weekend breakfast and brunch hours. The special bao is basically loh mai kai wrapped in steamed bread. For me, it tasted so so, nothing special. Except that it was very filling and if you’re a small eater, best to drag a friend or family along since glutinous rice makes you full very fast. I also tried their selection of normal dim sum before and it was good, but the price here is higher than other dim sum shops, almost RM30−40 per person for dinnertime. So unless you want to try their Gai Woh Pau, better go elsewhere for a Dim Sum fix.

Despite the location, this restaurant is quite a bomb in the celebrity world. Pictures of the owner posing with famous local celebrities can be seen hung up on the wall. Located beside a car service center, parking will be a hassle but there are plenty of lots available a few blocks away. It’s worth the calories burned for these scrumptious dim sums! Ordering away, I always tend to over order but fret not, they do offer to pack it in a doggy bag and also there is take away! So get someone to drop you off and quickly make your way to the kitchen and be done by the time your friend takes a short drive around the neighborhood. Well known for their Gai Woh Bao(Chicken Nest Bun), you must give a try! Soft fluffy dough shaped like a nest, with glutinous rice, chicken, chopped char siew, mushrooms and caramelized onions within. Somehow I still prefer Fu Lai over Clan but Clan is known for their speciality dish so we’ll leave that out for comparison. Since it has been touched by local celebrities, you can expect to be paying a slightly higher rate per basket than you normally would.
