Brunch with the girls today. Pretty packed. Had to wait for bout 15 minutes to get a place for 5 people. The menu is as usual. No changes. We had a variety of brunches today. Satisfry came with a cup of tea/coffee and a cup of juice. You can choose scramble or sunny side up, pork sausage or bacon with mushroom, arugula, cherry tomatoes and a slice of bread. I had the wholesome Spanish baked eggs(baked beans, onion, two eggs, bacon and slices of white bread). C had BELT sandwich(bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato) which came with a small side salad. YH had some sorta of salad topped with bacon, mushroom and cheese. J had the… avocado chicken sandwich(there were some raw onions, so it’s kinda a little strong smell there) with a side salad. Drinks…YH had the detox juice(ginger, celery and green apple) while C had strawberry squeeze(strawberry, banana and something). Service is as usual. A little inattentive cause of the amount of customers. But still quick for us. Parking was bad. All us of parked at north south east west. If you park anywhere far, just make sure you do pay for the parking ticket. Not worth getting a summon over the weekend. Price rating: 3⁄5(ranges from 20.80−27.80 or more)(should come out with more variety of sets!) Nom nom rating: 3⁄5(salad was bit dry, sandwich had not much dressing except for butter and the runny egg yolk) Service rating: 3⁄5(not enough waiters/waitresses and somewhat not too attentive? Overall rating: 3⁄5(parking was not good, menu should be updated, service can be updated)

I wanted good pork chops and these are hard to come by. I initially came in the afternoon not knowing that they had a different menu for the afternoon and night. So I returned at night and found the noisy restaurant that I was at in the afternoon transformed into a peaceful little place in the evening. I ordered the pork chop with pears and I have to say it was wonderful. The pork was succulent and paired very well with the pears and apples. I would definitely return for this

Unassuming in disguise, Bread Fruits first appeared in Kay Hell as a bakery cum juicery. A year or so down the road, underground whispers cropped up about its expansion into brunches and lunches. It passed the taste and presentation test with great brunch platters, lovely soft silky scrambled eggs, crackly skinned sausages and how can one not love a place that adds avocado and rocket to their breakfasts? A touch of green is always appreciated in hazy valley. Back then, their one downfall was their coffee, but this is now fixed. Lunch — the pasta with the(7-minute?) egg is a favorite, and other baconny, mushrummy pastas are also on the menu. And now, they ve expanded into dinner bless them, and let me tell you, the seafood stew, baked fish et al uhh-Mayy-zing. They only thing we didn’t like was a smoked salmon salad where the salmon was lacklustre and lackfreshness. But history shows they get better and better, so this little gem is constantly on the radar.

Have been to Breadfruits twice for their brunch and I would say I enjoyed both visits. Food always taste fresh and homey — unlike a lot of the overhyped cafes that serve Instagram-worthy but mediocre food. I had the the grilled chicken & avocado sandwich during my first visit and the SatisFry-Up breakfast later. There will always be someone who orders the Brunch Pasta so I didn’t even bother considering lol. Needless to say, the pasta is very up to standard with its 7 minute egg. But what impresses me is how they put together all ingredients that are so distinct yet don’t try to overpower each other. I specifically love their mushrooms. I was also delighted by their generosity with the amount of chicken in my sandwich. The rich creamy guacamole complements the chicken breast very well, and the bread is absolutely hearty. Satisfry-Up is just like what you would expect from a brunch place. Standard but nothing too impressive. I had the pork sausage, which is rather salty like all sausages, but the tangy cherry tomatoes did a great job in neutralizing the flavors. They don’t mess around with their juices — no watered down /over-sweetened /icy BS. Just juice. YUMS. Haven’t gotten a chance to try their coffee items but looks promising. Expect some 15 – 20 minutes wait if you come during brunch hours. Also it tends to get pretty chaotic with people walking in and out to take numbers and all that chatter in a packed, closed space — suggesting that this is not your usual casual chillax café setting. But I would definitely recommend a visit solely for the food itself. Great for families as well.

Looking for a great satisfying brunch area, i love love love love love the food here! Healthy and simple and tasty! Not to mention its pet friendly too! They serve super amazing breakfast menu which is less oily and some places are oily as hell. The time i came here was when i heard there is a discount if we buy something in the menu which is the pasta so i ordered the 7-min egg, super amazing! one of the best cabonara i have ever had. The sauce is so creamy yet not so thick, the bacon is awesome and the half boiled egg mixed together with the pasta makes the flavour even more tastier! When you are sitting outside, service may be slow as sometimes they wont look outside and you will get frustrated, they got fresh fruit juices here as well. Healthy food! Healthy drinks! Healthy me! Awesome place to make me happy.

One of my favourite brunch spots for the weekends! Always packed but trust me, it’s worth the wait. The juices are amazing, and most importantly not watered down and it only costs 10.90! Also, the service is great however the price of fresh fruits can be quite expensive.

This is one of my fav brunch place in Klang Valley! Just love the quality of the food here, for eg: baked beans that are unlike the typical canned quality, the scrambled eggs that are cooked just right, fruit mixture in the salad, fresh bread slices and etc… The standard of food served is quite consistent despite public holidays or busy day. Besides that, there are wide varieties of fruit juice choices.

A big glass of 100% fruit juice for RM10.90/ per cup only. AWESOME! I tried their apple/pear pork chop, steak and risotto. I love most of their items yet their prices are not expensive. They used quality ingredients to cook most of their meals yet they do not charge expensive. Ir really impress me. I will definitely go back to try their other menu items. Looking for parking around that area is pain in the axx. the public parking lot charge about RM5 — RM8/per car per entry

This is a place owned by my friend’s sister and I was there for their grand opening as well. Loving their concept of blending in a bakery and also a fruit stall next to each other. Oh well yes they also have drinks available :) I’ve tried on their bread and pastries and they tasted really good. My friend’s sister was really nice and helpful and makes sure that we got all things that we were seeking for. I am really happy that the business flourished and there are more people being aware of this place. I’m definitely going to come back to them again for more support :)

Breadfruits has been around for awhile now and they have really good juices and bread. People would usually buy the fruits and they serve really good juice. They only have one size which would cost a little more than 10rm. Everything else is pretty decently costed. Fruits are really nice as well, some people buy groceries there. A lot of variety of fruit juice and they also serve branch. They also recently renovated so it looks way nicer now. It’s somewhere on a pretty narrow street in Desa Sri Hartamas so parking can be quite a pain but there is a parking area available but it can be a little bit expensive.

I noticed that nowadays, Malaysians are getting increasingly health conscious about their lifestyles, it’s common for people to hit the gym, participate in marathons, hiking and so on. With the current trend happening in Malaysia it’s logical that creative entrepreneurs would want to catch the current hot trends. Breadfruits is definitely one of the restaurants/cafés that has caught up with the current trend. Breadfruit is probably a fusion of western café/restaurants and juice bars, you can have your favourite western meals here couple with a glass of fresh juice and a cup of coffee(what an awesome combination!). Me and my other half loved coming to this restaurant as it is rather unique compared to other cafes, just being here felt like you’re dining at a fresh produced market(fruits market) as you’re surrounded with fruits and organic products(mainly honey). Here their service is quite good and they are very well organised in terms managing customers waiting in-line for available seatings. However, securing a parking in the heart of Hartamas can be quite a challenge, so ample luck and patience is required. Generally, I will revisit this café again and again. Keep up the great services!

I recently tried out Breadfruits and I must say that if you love eating organic or even plan to eat with fresh and healthy ingredients; this is the place to go to! I loved everything about this café and I definitely can’t wait to come back. A friend of mine ordered the aglio olio but claimed he didn’t like it because it the pasta was served with plenty of greens. So I do suggest you to visit if you plan to eat healthy! Parking here is also not tough to find because the restaurant is located right in front of an open carpark, so finding a parking spot isn’t much of a hassle. But there is a specific fee for parking which isn’t very cheap. I think it’s around RM5−7 when I visitied. The waiters and waitresses here are very helpful and very fast but this café can be quite crowded and busy during brunch hours because the space isn’t very big, but the food here is surely worth the wait! So don’t rush them because things can get a little bit busy in this bustling restaurant.

I’ve been reading many reviews on BreadFruits so decided to give it a try. Last week my sister and I went there for brunch. Breadfruits is located in Kota Damansara. You could pay RM5 to enter the parking compound or you could look for parking along the street. As I was going to be there for less than an hour, I got a parking by the street and only paid about RM1. The restaurant/café/bakery has a big signboard saying BreadFruits. which you would not be able to miss From the outside, it looks like a little bakery, but in the inside, there was a fairly big space to sit and dine. It had a very simple and innovative interior but I noticed that tables were very close to each other. Would not be too comfortable when it is crowded. I ordered their SatisFryUp(RM23.80 including coffee/tea + juice of the day) which was almost like a big breakfast, and my sister ordered an Aglio Olio. Breadfruits tries as much to use farm fresh, healthy ingredients in their meals. My dish looks amazingly good when it arrived and I was very eager to try it, but to my disappointment, I wasn’t too pleased with it. The sausage was way to hard on the exterior and too mushy in the inside, the salad was too plain and boring looking, the cherry tomatoes were great as it was so juicy and sweet, the scrambled eggs did not really look like scrambled eggs and the mushroom was too cold. It really put me off and I did not feel like eating. But somehow I managed to eat most of it. By sister’s aglio olio however was good but just a little bland. After adding pepper and chilli flakes, it tasted really good. presentation wise, both dishes were good, but taste wise, the aglio alio was much better. For the price, the portion size as well as the set was worth it, but they could improve on the taste. Upon leaving, I noticed that they also sell fruits and some healthy items such as honey and raisins. Overall, a good restaurant/café to go to !

Breadfruits is just one of those places that just puts the soul in brunches. Stumbling upon this little fruit shop-meets-café on a Saturday afternoon in Hartamas, we saw a line of anticipating people and we were eager to discover what the hype was all about. We had to make a reservation as it was a full house. So, as we stood outside, we had a look into their menu. To my delight, everything is, what I call, healthy. Ranging from different juices to their famous wild honey creations to French toasts to even pastas. They had vegan options which sent me into sheer excitement. No, really, I was grinning the entire time. Due to the fact that Hartamas is an upper-scale area, restaurants here are bound to be more highly-charged in terms of foods and drinks. However, no guilt was felt as the food here was simply delicious and it was an opportunity where one cannot miss. The waitresses here were very nice, even the manager pitched in to help with the hectic business. Making up my mind, I got the Vegan Treehugger which consisted of toasted Rye bread, sautéed mushrooms, avocado and homemade baked beans. I also got a glass of watermelon juice followed by a cup of tea to quench my thirst. Their baked beans are like no other! It was literally so flavorsome and unlike the one you’d get from canned baked beans. I really enjoyed my visit here and am hoping to come here much more often.

On a Saturday afternoon, my friends and I wanted to try a new eatery to have our brunch. Thus, we stumble upon Breadfruits to have our brunch. It was not difficult to find this place as it can be easily found using Waze. Once we arrived, we had issues in finding an empty parking spot near the eatery but fret not as there were ample parking spaces if you wish to fork out a bit of money. The 1st thing we noticed when we arrived the eatery was the crowd. There were so many people queuing to enter Breadfruits till we nearly gave up waiting. Since there are so many people queuing, we believe that it will be all worth it; so we insisted to wait. We waited for 20 minutes to get an empty table. We were guided to our sits and got the food menu ready for us. We took quite some time to order, as there were many choices of foods and drinks. I ended up ordering the brunch pasta with 7 minutes egg(RM16.80) and wild honey blended with Indian pomegranate and passion fruit(RM15) for brunch. All I can commend is that their foods and drinks taste healthy — which means there was less salt and less sugar. I would like to commend on the service as well because it was swift. I loved my experience in Breadfruits and I had no negative comments on this eatery.

Breadfruits is just one of those places in Hartamas that really has that name of distinct opulence. I mean, you really cannot find any other cafes that combine two different types of food altogether and make it into a name. Of course, I kid. Breadfruit serves a helluva breakfast menu, and is well revered by many other humans who would love to enjoy sipping coffee as you stuff your face with poached eggs. Bacon is a regular guest star in the menu too, making appearances in most of the more appealing dishes. You have to be there to experience it. I am not a huge fan of bacon and eggs together(it creates an uneven taste of saltiness and destroys the taste of the wondrous egg), but you might love pork so much that you will eat it for breakfast and then die of a cardiac arrest. Literally. Literally.

So every fortnight, I hang out with this bro of mine where we try new places to eat. On a scorching Friday afternoon, we decided to visit Breadfruits at Hartamas. Lucky for us, we manage to find parking right in front of the café; however, we still need to queue to get a seat as it was a full house. Swarming with ladies, couples and dates, i couldn’t help but just to stare blankly until my name is called. Probably about 15 minutes we managed to secure a table. I ordered the spaghetti oglio olio. What I had in mine was a spaghetti mixed with some garlic, dried chili, herbs and mushrooms. When the dish arrived, my expectations was crushed down the drain It was so epic, as the spaghetti came with lots of mushrooms, some raisins, tons of garlic, dried chili and herbs and not to mention it was topped with a generous amount of rocket salad! I can tell you guys this place is a haven for healthy eating! Score!

Every time after hill climbing, I will surely reward myself with a great meal. Found out about this place from foodie friend of mine. This café serves western foods, freshly squeezed fruit juice fresh fruits and wild honey. I am an American breakfast person. I was captivated by their SatisFry Up(big breakfast) that are made up of sausage /bacon, eggs(scrambled or sunny side up), sautéed mushroom, roasted cherry tomatoes, mash potato, arugula and toast. It comes with a cup of black coffee(Americano) or tea and a cup of juice of the day. I’m not an Americano person hence I was delighted when they allows me to switch to latte for only an extra RM2. I was so greedy that I ordered a cup of juice as well. Well they are famous of their juice! So it’s a must-try. The first visit was awesome! Bread Fruit immediately tops my ‘breakfast place’ list. However, I find that their quality deteriorates over time. My favourite breakfast doesn’t feel like it’s made to order anymore because it is not warm. So sad. I thought that I finally found a place where I can always go to whenever I’m craving for western breakfast but my second visit changed my mind. Been there a few more times after and their quality does not improve. Maybe I shall try their pastas instead next time.

When first hearing about this one of many brunch café’s that have slowly taken Klang Valley residents hearts, I was a little stunned to hear that it also sold fresh fruits and vegetables within its humble doors. A little odd, maybe especially considering the demure size of the café which seems to have forced its guests to squeeze into a narrower setting. A plus maybe for you would be eavesdroppers out there and believe me, a moment of silence or so at your table and it isn’t hard to overhear the opposite table’s chatter about their pet dog, Mochi. If you’re looking for that sugar rush to get your day going, you might want to try their Roasted Banana Bacon French Toast with wild honey, the honey can also be bought at the café itself and that’s right you heard me, Banana, BACON! There’s bacon. If there’s something that can go with anything, it’s bacon and this dish proves it once again. What I like about this place, is that if you’re going to sell fresh fruits, you better be selling fresh juices as well, and with an ample selection to choose from, with fair prices to go, Breadfruits is worth a try.
