Boston is located in the Cheras Leisure Mall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Large outdoor dining area. The inside dining area was small not well air conditioned. The tables and chairs were modern looking in the outdoor dining area. The inside was a little older looking almost as if the outdoor area was put up at a later date. The menu had many iced drinks and was primarily Chinese dishes. The waiter told us they ran out of ice water no cold drinks. It was hot that day, so there was no reason not to have ice water. We had to fill out an order sheet with corresponding numbers for our order. We ordered French fries, beef and broccoli, nasi lemak and mushroom soup. Food was average, the service was slow. The wait staff were not very attentive and were engaged in idle chatter(i.e. what are you doing later, did you hear about, etc.). Price was moderate but again quality of food was ok and the service was poor.

Boston is a place where my brother likes to come to have lunch. We used to have lunch here because it is near to our house and the price are reasonable. I have tried their sandwich and cheese baked rice before. One of my favorite drink is the ‘Yin Yong’ which is a mixture of coffee and tea. The cheese bake rice is very nice and filing. You can choose chicken, fish or seafood for the cheese bake rice. I usually will pick the chicken one. The sauce have pepper sauce, white sauce and red sauce. I like to pick the pepper sauce because I love spicy food. However, the service is very slow and the restaurants is not clean enough. I remember I saw small cockroach crawling around the chair.

Boston is a Chinese-Malaysian restaurant that serves many different types of fried nice and noodles. I dined at Boston during a friend’s birthday celebration. Boston tries to imitate an underground authentic dining concept with subtle orange tungsten lights at the walls and above the ceilings, making the supposedly romantic illumination touches the Chinese characters on the wall and the long wooden tables and chairs. It all looks like a very nice place to dine, but unfortunately the food wasn’t good. Everything lacked in innovation and flavour and neither did it keep to the origins of how some of the best Chinese dishes are made.
