I like the food here. I always come for the spicy petai fried rice. When this dish is eaten with their sambal, your brain will say thank you thank you while your tongue will curse you. Satisfyingly spicy! I was about to give them four stars for their good food and the nice ambience, but their waiters and waitresses have been so attentive, so smiley and they kept filling my glass of water that I felt like they deserved 5 stars. If you’re around the Midvalley area and you’re wondering where they are, they are in the row of shoplots where all the slimming centres are located and on the first floor, near to Perodua.

Authentic Nyonya food! Aunty Nat is hidden away amongst the Boulevard Offices. It’s located on the first floor a few doors away from the Perodua showroom. The establishment is decorated with memoirs from the olden days and antiquities like fridges and fans. The tables and chairs are all made from teak wood and gives off a very homey feeling. Their menu comprises mainly of nyonya inspired dishes and the recipes for each dish has been handed down through the owner’s family which gives it that home-cooked touch. I’d recommend the Sambal Belacan Fried Rice, its abit spicy but very fragrant and rich in flavour. Their dessert menu does not disappoint as well. They have cendol, ABC& even sago with gula melaka. The ABC is my favourite. The service here is good and there is never a long wait for the food. Will definitely be back for more!
