Haven’t been back recently, but I was there once with a Groupon for Brazilian waxing when it first opened. I don’t know if I got like a trainee or something, but I wasn’t terribly happy with the result. Otherwise, the hospitality was pretty good and I liked the décor.

Ladies! There are days where we get super upset for getting our brows threaded super thin at the Indian brow threading spots but at Apron Bay, you get trained professional eyebrow threading ladies who can help you get just what you need.
Most beauty parlors around bangsar who offer waxing services are run by Indian ladies, and it’s rare to come across one run by chinese ladies like Apron Bay. When you enter, you can feel that they are professional. They will talk to you first and ask you how you want it (whether you need it thin or just to get it shaped or cleaned up) and don’t just jump straight to your eyebrows assuming you’d like the finished result.

Apron Bay offers a massive range of beauty related services from waxing to brow threading and nails. I decided to stop by for an express manicure when I was in the area.
Stepping in I was greeted by a friendly lady near the counter. I made no prior booking but it was quite empty so she said it was fine. After that she led me to a chair and table and assigned one of the manicurists available. The express manicure came with a hand soak, cuticle trimming, a hand massage and then the nail polish application.
They had quite a good range of nail polish colours to choose from and used mostly OPI brand of polish.
I picked a classic red colour and it turned out very nice against my skin tone. Application was almost flawless — except that some of the polish went on the sides of my fingernails and I only realised this upon closer inspection after I walked out the store under brighter lighting.
The ambience is very relaxing, cosy and comfortable. Very clean and professional. The staff were all in uniforms and well –trained. Expect to pay a higher price being situated in Bangsar. But if you haven’t been here before, I’d definitely recommend ApronBay as a special treat for yourself and/​or your loved ones!

Apronbay is located right opposite the Bangsar Village 2 entrance (the Delicious restaurant entrance). They are known for specialising in Brazilian waxing and eyebrow shaping. Their eyebrow shaping is one of the best I’ve been to as they really take the time shape your brows according to what suits your face best. The beauty therapist will usually suggest the best way to shape your brows (waxing, threading or tweezing). Keep in mind that some people are prone to breakouts when they wax their eyebrows, so a safer option would be to just thread or tweeze those brows. Apronbay also offers manicure and pedicures. They also sell post wax care products that they will recommend after your waxing session. However, the salesperson was not pushy and wanting to make a quick sale so that’s a plus for sure. Overall I was very satisfied with the service I received here.
