A fantastic new addition to the Gurney basement shopping area. The food comes out fast and delicious. It’s by far the best restaurant in the area. The best value — clean, cheap, delicious — what more can you ask for. It’s relatively new, about a month old, but everything seems to run quite efficiently. As usual, the key things to order are: — xiao long bao — chicken soup(with or w/o noodles) — this is rally the best dish there — fermented bean noodles — fried rice I used to like their beef noodle soup, but I find it quite bland now. It wasn’t worth it. I love Din Tai Fung’s noodle texture/quality. It’s very inexpensive and reliable and delicious. One warning though — we got our purse stolen here during our meal. A dude, walks in, watched us eat and came over and snatched our purse while we grubbed on the xiao long bao. We saw it all go down, afterwards, on the closed caption TV. We sat in the very back, so the culprit was especially audacious coming all the way back into the restaurant. The restaurant manager is really new and was shocked and really took the time to search through all the different cameras and footage. But alas, she and mall security was unable to do anything.
