I was looking up for waffle places and I found this place in one of the websites I checked. As I was craving for waffles, my sister and I decided to go to TLCB to satisfy our cravings. The shop is located in Damansara Uptown and is quite a small lot so make sure you be on the lookout as there are chance of missing this shop as you drive by. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot right in front of the café as its always impossible to find parking in Uptown. Its a cute little café with dimmed lighting and a library inspired décor. The chairs were cushioned chairs and it was a really comfortable place to chill. My sister ordered a spicy tuna linguine(Rm15) and I ordered a fresh fruit waffle(RM13.50). We got our food within 10 minutes and we were eager to dig in. My waffles were really tasty but it was such a small portion for Rm13.50. My sister’s pasta was so disappointing as they used anchovies instead of tuna when the menu clearly said tuna. Overall, I think this place is really cosy and is great to chit chat over a cuppa but I would not come back here for the food. Even the waffle was not as good as I expected it to be.

Guess this new generation youngsters have not been to a library enough to want to go to a library to hang out. There’s been quite a number of Library outlets sprouting out in Klang Valley and I’ve been to about 2 of them. The interior design is actually pretty cool considering they have book shelves like Harry Porter style. The times I’ve been here, I would recommend you to go for their desserts only. Their coffee is meh but their meals are bad. Stay away from it.

One cold misty drizzling evening, my friend and I decided to take a shelter at the nearest café/restaurant we can find. We ended up here instead. The service was good though, they offered us tissue and cloth to dry ourselves up. Though the Library has a wide choice of coffee, they have too few choices for tea though… but I gave the peppermint tea a try! It was warm, concetrated with peppermint taste. Though it is a little overprice for the portion they serve. The ambience on the other hand kinda remind me like I was in the library in United Kingdom. It is cozy, relaxed and the seats attached to the wall are wide, so you could actually lie down: p Parking though is really the no.1 problem if you wanna get to here!

I love coming here because of it’s cosy environment. It’s like the best place to visit to have a great catch up with friends. They have lovely cushions, racks of books available for read anytime, and an array of food choices. It does seemed like a library, but one that allows food and drinks :) Another reason I liked coming here was because it’s the only café along the same street that closes slightly later than normal cafes. They close at 1am. Oh by the way, it’s a rather quiet café that you can have an empty and relaxed mind reading. Best reading spot for book lovers! I’ve tried their waffle and also their fried wontons. Waffle was more like a basic waffle that you can get anywhere else and well their wonton was somewhat special. I took the chocolate banana filling wonton. Well to be honest it’s more like a mouthful of chocolate in a fried shell. Delicious? If you like anything sweet, this is meant for you. Not exactly for me I would say. Haven’t tried their main courses but might give it a try one day. Not a coffee person, so I always opt for their tea. The lemongrass tea is my favorite. Unlimited refills! One thing not so good about this place is the ability to secure a parking spot. It’s really hard to find one during peak hours. Above all, will recommend this place for hanging out with friends.
