Rumour has it this is the best café in Bandar Damai Perdana. Nyonya Kopitiam serves a wide range of Malaysian food, with a little foreign cuisine from Hong Kong and the West. People always come for their fried kuew teow, nasi lemak and assam laksa. Well they are good for me. I tasted each of them and the taste is extremely good. However, this time round, I tried fried beef kuew teow(Hong Kong style). It is not really well done. I won’t be surprised if people hardly order this as this is neither the best dish of the store nor it tastes well. Noodles are a bit too soft. You hardly get to chew the noodle much as it softens quickly once entering your mouth. The beef is not fresh at all. I hardly get to taste the great taste of beef while eating. The beef is too large in pieces. They should have cut them into thin slices. They are too hard and I gotta chew so hard to break them into smaller pieces to avoid choking the food. Thus, don’t order this! Ambience wise, I have no issue about it. It is partially air-conditioned as the interior dining area is partially opened to exterior air. For smokers, you have your privileged seats at the exterior area. To enhance the«kopitiam» concept, they provide free newspaper for reading. I had a good afternoon here(expect the food). However, it might not be your best place to do assignments and study as it is a favourite place for family(especially weekends) and all kind of noises will call you to madness if you are seeking for silence.

I have visited this place as long as I could remember & still lovin’ it. The location of Nyonya Kopitiam strategically placed at the corner lot; highly visible to spot and it is the center point of the whole area. White collars from offices around, school teachers etc. would normally dine in at Nyonya Kopitiam during lunch hours. Breakfast hours would be packed with students’ parents for a cup of aromatic coffee to kick start their day. Night time is filled with chatty aunts & uncle with their gossiping time. Creamy Carbonara Spaghetti is our all-time favorite, my little sister ordered this every time without failed. The richness of the creamy white sauce is super delicious! It is so smooth and velvety, we slurped and slurped before even realizing it is finished. The portion is just right for one person but we usually asked for extra spaghetti. If you love fried chicken, be sure to order the fried chicken chop! The portion is big enough to feed two people; chicken is thick, crispy and juicy. It also served with some fries, coleslaw, and corn. I am not a fan of the frozen fries served and the corn. Of course, you can always ask for a swap either for more coleslaw or something else. TIPS:(1) If you love thick and aromatic coffee, be sure to try their signature Hazel Nut White Coffee!(2) The menu could be very boring for those who have visited a few times; I wish Nyonya Kopitiam would have more initiative to update their menu from time to time.(3) If you are in hurry, you can give them a call to prepare your order in advance.
