This place was pretty fun for the kids. There is an average selection of meat including seafood. Of course you cook the meat yourself at the table top they also have a boiling pot. There are poached eggs along with vegetables and fresh fruit. There is fried rice and steamed rice along with various soup bases and curry to top them with. You can select whatever you want to cook or boil. The only downfall being if you don’t finish everything than you will be charged 200 yen for every gram you leave behind which I imagine can add up pretty fast. The kids loved the cotton candy machine that they have on the way out & I loved that you get to make it yourself(I had never made cotton candy before so I just winged it). All in all it was a good place and reasonable priced. For two adult women and 3 children ages 3 – 5 it was about 4,800 yen so about $ 48 including drinks. They do charge a different price for men, women and kids of various age ranges; but you look at the prices as you walk in and then you pay on your way out.

Great fur lunch. 1200 – 14000¥ large selection of different meats to try more than enough time to try everything. Dinner is more expensive about double, but we’re are you gonna get all you can eat crab legs for less. Had a great time. Also it is a great choice for people trying to eat low –carb meals.

The family’s favorite all you can eat Yakiniku joint. It used to be Gyukaku in More’s city, don’t get me wrong Gyukaku has real good food but they continuously change the menu and when you have two teenagers that can EAT, well you just can’t beat the price at Akaoni. All the meat selection from pork, beef and chicken are great. Shrimp and the crab is also good, I just don’t like dealing with the shells. The selection of veggies, fruits and dessert, pretty good. As I get older the«all you can eat» is really not worth it for me so I prefer to go during their lunch hours when the price is ¥1,280 for the ladies and ¥1,380 for the gents. The price goes up and extra ¥1,100 per ladies and gents at night. The sushi and crab is not on the menu during their lunch hours so if you are wanting those, go after 1700.

This is the perfect place to go when you don’t know what you want. It definitely is set up to cater to a US crowd with large tables and aisles so kids have room. You have all you can eat for around 3000 yen with an all you can drink option available. It is self service on the food and they have the following main items: Shabu shabu at each table — boiling broth where you cook meat and veggies. Yakiniku — Korean style BBQ Sushi Ramen Curry Crab legs Rice Deserts Now — the down fall is with such a wide variety the meat choices are limited but you will find something for everyone here. It’s like a OCB — for Japanese foods usually shops specialize in one dish of.

Dinner price with drink bar is Y2880. Too expensive and not much variety. I guess I’m just used to the very first Yakiniku restaurant I had in Atsugi where it’s only Y1500 with lots of meats, sauces, make your own ramen, and sushi go round.

Catching up on reviews. I was originally going to eat at BBQ House Anan but wanted to mix it up and try another place. There was Hamazushi on the bottom deck but wasn’t in the mood for sushi. Saw the sign for Yakiniku Akaoni and decided to give it a try. Akaoni is an all you can eat style Yakiniku. You grab a tray, plate and head over to the food. Large variety of vegetables and food. What makes this place stick out vs the other area Yakiniku places: 1. All you can eat crab boiled at your table. 2. No waiting for the server. Grab what you want and start grilling. 3. Yakitori/ready meats and intestines on a stick for easy grilling. What bugged me was those small chairs. Reminded me of elementary school. As always my mission is to try good food and eat it. Well done.
