Decent Italian restaurant on the second floor of the Intercontinental Pacifico. Ordered the La Vella course menu. Starter salad of greens and duck was quite good – duck had the perfect amount of fat on it and was full of flavor. The lobster appetizer was interesting. Had some good flavors, but the lobster itself was a bit lost in the dish. The pasta course was alright, although may have been the least favorable dish of the course. Not enough punch of flavor in the dish, and the pasta was a wee bit overcooked for my liking. The lamb course was beautiful, and the flavor hit all the high notes. Preparation of the meet was done to a medium temperature. I know some like it rarer than that but honestly it was a great tasting dish that it should not matter. Dessert course of coffee ice cream and a pistachio tart/cake was an excellent closure to the meal – not too sweet and clear, distinct flavors. Really liked the pistachio punch in this dish.

Bit cheesy to have the dinner at the hotel, but since we wanted to have a good view and decent course meal, we chose to stop by intercontinental hotel. I had a 5 course meal which beef steak’s tenderness was so unreal. The brown sauce for the steak gelt bit too salty for my liking. The pasta with the abalone sauce, and the antipasti were my favorite. The service was good, but I wished I was seated in a better view seats.
