This event was that«bright yellow light» on a cloudy Yokohama day. An overcast, gloomy day I rushed from Yokohama Station And arrived in time to take the Sea Bass(ferry) to the event. The terminal is located next to McDonald’s. Yuko-San was there to greet us. Today’s theme was wear something Yellow. Spotted some people in yellow. Got to meet new area Unilocalers while we waited for the Ferry. The ride to the event was smooth. Very nice cushioned seats. Provided a nice views of the Minatomirai area. The Sea Bass brought us safely to Pukari Pier and to our YEE( Unilocal Elite Event) at Pier 21. Pier 21 is a floating restaurant located on the 2nd floor, behind the InterContinental Yokohama Grand. The 10 of us were seated in a private room. Nice views of the area, including the Cup o Noodle Museum and huge cruise boat near Osanbashi pier.
The food was excellent! Got to enjoy a tasty salad, creamy pumpkin soup, sautéed salmon and dessert. Always great to hang out with familiar faces and meet new people. Got to talk to the Unilocal Queens of Yokohama and Kawasaki. Met some new people from the local area to Montréal. We played a game in which you had to guess who or what you are. Yuka-san placed a sticker on our cheek. We could ask two questions per round. Famous, dead, female, American. I needed that extra hint– the Flying skirt/dress. Marilyn Monroe. Great event! Thank you Yuko-san and Team Unilocal Japan for a great event.
