I am often in Yokohama and my palettes are used to crushing those really thick, heavy, fatty, salty and oh so delicious ramen that would get you paralyzed. True story… So having ramen at Afuri is like going on a fat-free diet with the same deliciousness level with some citrus-y flavor that could get you refreshed and help you digest — or better«hide», the amazing slice of pork that caused you to cheat. Aww… love it! PS. I savage meat so didn’t try(probably never) Vegan Ramen. That’s quite good to see. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere that has those.

Great place, especially because they have VEGANRAMEN. As a vegetarian it has been quite difficult in Tokyo, and this is the first place I have come across that has a vegan option(apart from the all-vegan restaurants). As my boyfriend is a meat-eater, this was perfect. Truly delicious and although not cheap, it’s still affordable. I can highly recommend Afuri!

Very great. The orange/lemon flavored one(柚子) is very special and is different from others. Must taste it. 很好吃!尤其柚子湯頭,跟別家比很有特色。

Very unique! The broth is lemon chicken flavor and has a very different taste to it! Noodles were good and pork is grilled on the spot! Would definitely recommend trying it once! Something you can’t get in America if you’re visiting!

If you like rich tonkotsu ramen(pork stock ramen) this place may not be to your liking. Their soup stock is made of fish flakes and dried sardines. It is on the lighter side of the scale compared to other rich ramen stocks. Their signature bowl is infused with Yuzu citrus. It tastes quite unique & refreshing but I found it a bit too sour for my liking. I got a feeling that this place is one of those you«love it or hate it» restaurants
