Wow, all I can really say, wow. Ok, I’ll try to say a bit more. This was probably the best ramen I’ve had in Japan. A friend took me here and said it’s «kind of famous». While I believe her judgement, it seemed like a strange location, almost under a bridge, no one there — I’ve been here three times and almost no one was eating near us. She was right, I will never question her again. I’ve gotten the soy based broth and a spicey soy, both where probably the best broths I’ve ever had. She got a Tsukemen(dipping noodle) which also looked amazing. The chasu was grilled and tasted amazing as well. Many of the shops I’ve gone to will cut the egg in half, which looks pretty… Though this place just gives you the full egg — I don’t see that all the time and assumed it would be cooked all the way through. Nope… It was perfect, they knew it, didn’t even need to cut it open to check… Again, amazing. If you’re in the area, you must try this. If you live near here — they also apparently have a «stump lary — Sou Member’s card», buy 12 ramen, get one free. Only time I had seen that in Japan. There is no English menu, but it’s just a ramen machine. Choose blindly and try to answer their questions — usually they will ask what type of broth you want.
