Delicious food and such wonderful and kind staff. We came here for lunch around noon but they still had the breakfast and dinner menus available on the screen. Highly recommend the pork stir fry with plenty of veggies! They do have. A rice refill station which is super handy. Affordable prices and easy location from oak hostel.

Ordering was simple enough. Vending machine just next to the door as you enter will show the menu and take your order with payment. English menu was avail. Then it gives you a receipt to give to a staff member who shows you to a table. Food was near instant, and of nice portion and quality. Would eat there again.

You can enjoy Japanese home cooking dishes here. Everything is good and taste is stable whenever you go. You can’t go wrong if you want to experience nice Japanese home cooking meals at reasonable price. Most of the meals come with free refill steamed rice.

Came here for breakfast as the hostel that i lived in recommended this place. Super close to Tawaramachi station. The restaurant is very clean and super quiet in the morning. As far as I can tell, I was the only foreigner there You order your food with a vending machine. Luckily it has an English menu on the machine. I was a little lost at first as I went straight to sit down and wait for the waiter. The waitress came and she couldn’t speak english. Luckily both of us speak a little Chinese, so she told me how to order on the vending machine and explained the breakfast dishes. There are basically 3 sets if you are looking for Japanese breakfast. A natto set, a egg & sausage set and a salmon set. I went for the salmon set as I couldn’t stand the taste of natto. The waitress was willing to switch out the natto in the salmon set with a cold tofu dish for me. Every set comes with rice, miso soup, pickled vegetable and a raw egg. The waitress told me to eat the egg raw(GEEZ). I really tried and gave up after the first trial, so I poured it into the miso soup, which is probably a bad thing to do as she told me the egg was very nutritious blah blah blah The salmon was grilled perfectly and lighted salted. There was a rice cooker near the kitchen so you can help yourself if you want more rice. Overall very unique and interesting experience and food was definitely tasty.
