Delicious! Worth the wait, noodles come quickly. Perfect chewy udon noodles and savory creamy broth (add cheese for extra awesome). Wish I had gone for the shrimp as well. Will be back. Many times.

We had regular udon and udon curry. Skip the other stuff and get the udon curry. It’s rich and tasty. The noodles are chewy and the beer is fresh and cold. I highly recommend this place! On the second floor of the food court in the jr line ueno station.

I came here based on a few online reviews. Was fooled by the map on Unilocal and walked on the street back and forth, and finally trusted the online review and went back to the JR Ueno station and looked for it. Bingo!
it was relatively quiet at 6:00pm in the restaurant. Ordered the prawn tempura curry udon from the simplified menu, and put on the bib and wait. The curry soup is so rich and flavourful. And udon nicely chewy texture. Price is on the expensive side of this type of dining (my set was $ 1360 yen), but I recommend to give it a try if you are tired of sushi and ramen.
