After visiting Shibuya Crossing, I made my way back to Shibuya Station to go to Asakusa to see the Nakamise Shopping Street and Sensō-ji. Asakusa Station is the terminus station for the Ginza Line which starts at Shibuya meaning I took the Ginza Line train from beginning to end. The good news about taking a train at Shibuya was that I got to sit the whole way. The bad news was that I had to take the train for 18 stops. At least the train ride was quite fast. While it stops at each station, the train doors close quite quickly after riders disembark and enter. Ended up making it to Asakusa in about 35 minutes. The area around Asakusa Station is easy to navigate. Nakamise Shopping Street and Sensō-ji are only a few blocks away. Since it is where most people are headed when they come to Asakusa, you can be fairly sure that following the crowds will lead you to it. If you need to get to Asakusa, I would recommend taking Tokyo Metro. It is close to the local attractions in the area and the station is easy to locate upon returning.
