Their«Tendon»(Tempura & rice) is probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. They make Tempura with sesame oil and that makes it smell so good and stimulates your appetite. And the portion comes absolutely insane if you just tell them«Ohmori, please» — Basically, you can add some extra rice to it for free of charge but it’ll really be a lot of food!!! It’s crispy outside and soft/moist inside and it just tastes great. The sauce they put on Tempura is like a national treasure. I’d absolutely buy it to use at home if they sell it(they seem not). You should expect to wait in the line for 15 – 40 minutes unless you get there before they open, but don’t worry and it’s worth a wait. It’s that good. The only downside is that it’s far from central Tokyo, and it’s far from the closest subway station as well. If you are a first timer to this area or even to Tokyo, I’d suggest you bring a Japanese friend with you so that you can eventually get to the place no matter what. I can’t stress enough that this place is worth the trip.
