The main square in this area once used to be the landmark of Kabuki-cho. With the Koma Theatre knocked down to make way for a multiplex building with a big chain cinema and hotel, I wonder if Tokyu Milano will be able to compete with them. There aren’t that many cinemas that can seat 1000 people anymore. I can’t say it’s really comfortable but I love these old, nostalgic vibe Tokyu Milano gives out. Besides showing screening the mainstream movies, Tokyu Milano is also famous for it’s screening art-house and independent films. This would be the perfect hideout on a rainy afternoon.
