Classic Rikyu. Located on the seventh floor of the Lumine Est building near the east station exit, this location comes with all the famous Rikyu experiences: long lines to get in and fantastic tasting cow tongue once inside. This location has ample seating so the waits aren’t as bad as others, which isn’t to say you won’t be waiting during mealtimes. Aside from the signature tongue, other faves include the braised tongue. Tried the tongue shumai on this visit and wasn’t impressed. It was decent, but only a mediocre shumai offering. I also like the rice mixture at Rikyu. It may be silly of me but the taste of the beef paired with the rice is part of the reason I like to eat cow tongue.
