All you can eat shabu shabu. Yes please! There were two options– we opted for the Japanese beef course. Very satisfied with our meal. Service was top notch and sides were delicious. Too bad they can’t have this quality of food in Hawaii at such a reasonable price. Will definitely be back if in the area!

+Excellent AYCE Shabu Shabu with beef, pork, chicken, veggie/mushrooms/noodles bar +Lunch prices $ 30 for Japanese beef, $ 20 for USDA. The Japanese beef was awesome and had way better marbling and flavor than the USDA, definitely worth the upgrade! +Pick 2 broths out of 4 options, we went with tonkotsu and sukiyaki, both were good but we liked the sukiyaki more +Quick and friendly service was fast with meat refills +Nice décor, clean bathrooms +High quality meats, cleaned and washed fresh vegetables +Premium loose leaf tea bags for hot tea, my favorite was the ginger genmai +Coffee machine with hot/ice or latte options, don’t miss the iced green tea latte! +4 options for good ice cream, best was green tea –Dipping sauces were limited, not sure if this is a Shabu Shabu thing Overall, this was a very high quality hot pot for a good price and one of my favorite meals of the trip!

Tasty, fresh ingredients. The shabu shabu broth was very light, nothing like the description states, but the sesame sauce was delicious, as were all of the meats, veggies, and other things available for AYCE. Loved the fresh salads at the veggie bar.

This place was pretty awesome. We opted for the basic beef and pork(for 90 mins) and chose 2 soup bases for the 4 of us. We chose the sukiyaki, and the tonkatsu. The sukiyaki flavor was pretty good even without the raw egg. The tonkatsu was pretty good too. After you order, you are basically on your own. You go up to the bar and grab all the veggies you want. They also have noodles, salads, curry, and rice. You can also make your own dipping sauce. You also have to get your own water and if you ordered the all you can drink option, you get that yourself too. I guess you are on the honor system because they had sodas at the drink bar too but you have to pay extra for that! The meat did not come fast enough. We had to continue to ask them to bring more. It seems as though they throttled us after a while which was disappointing, but everything was pretty good! The curry and salad they had at the bar was yummy too. The basic comes with ice cream(which you get on your own) and they had some unique flavors like milk, herbal, citrus, and strawberry. I will warn you, it was not your typical flavors. We really enjoyed the milk flavor the most as it was the creamiest without being tangy or awkward tasting. Overall it was a good meal and worth the price! They also cover your belongings so that it does get splashed on? Thought that was interesting!

This chain of shabu shabu restaurants is quite consistent with their quality and service. The veggies are super fresh and are straight from the farm with no added chemicals or preservatives. Their selection of greens are really the highlight for me. I was addicted to their Yuzu dressing at the salad bar topped with crushed sesame! The meat selection was good enough for an all you can eat type of a restaurant, however I must admit that the pork was far superior in taste and quality than the beef that we got. Just remember that afterwards you will stink of «hot pot» aroma so be sure to pack some febreeze.

We spent 6260 yen between my wife and I for this amazing experience of shabu shabu. We ordered the Japanese beef and pork, ordered 2 soup bases, shabu shabu and sukiyaki. Note that the base price comes with only 1 soup base, if you want 2 soup bases you’ll have to add an extra 200 yen. The order came with 2 trays of Japanese beef and then another 2 trays of Japanese pork. We kept order as this is an AYCE restaurant. We devoured a total of 2 plates pork and 12 plates beef, and of course a bunch of vegetables. They add on another 200 yen per person for the soft drinks, there are many choices. At the end, remember to leave some room for ice cream. There are 4 flavors, tofu, pistachio, orange, and sakura. Pistachio was our favorite and tofu our second favorite. We are so glad that we didn’t skip this place. Definitely come here and try their Japanese beef and pork shabu shabu, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is so thought out, they give you an optional bib, and a big cover to prevent any stains that maybe caused from the shabu shabu splatter. Great job!

Spent 4500 yen per person on the ayce Japanese pork and beef shabu shabu, only for all 3 of us to get food poisoning! If you want to waste 3 days pooping and vomiting, be my guest. This was my 2nd visit to this location and I’m terribly disappointed at how the quality of meat has declined enough to make people sick!

Shabu, yassssssssss! I have an undying love for shabu, so I had to have shabu in Japan. My friend and I originally stopped by another shabu place but was told the wait was going to be like 2 hours, so we left. Nabe-zo was the next shabu place I had bookmarked and luckily it was just a couple minutes walk away. We were seated immediately when we arrived, and it was nice that the staff spoke English! Not a lot, but enough to understand us! My friend and I were so surprised and excited when we discovered that Nabezo is AYCE(for about $ 22USD)!! We looked at each other and knew it was going down. We ordered the tonkotsu and sukiyaki options. You do NOT get ponzu or gomadare unless you order the shabu shabu option, which I think it just kombu broth. With the tonkotsu option, they give you a little bottle of concentrated broth that you can use as a sauce as well as to refill the pot with. Nabe-zo was awesome. They have a bar for all the veggies and sides, and the staff bring you whatever meat you’d like. The meat is sliced super thin and just melts in your mouth when you eat it. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it as I write this review. They’re super attentive and quick, so you’re never left waiting. It does get really hot and stuffy inside, but what do you expect? The line for dessert(I forget if it was yogurt or ice cream) was also super long, so we skipped out on that. Other than that, my friend and I thoroughly loved Nabe-zo!

Nabe-zo was one of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo during my one week stay. It was so good, we came here twice! Exit 5 A from Shinjuku san-chome station through Big Camera and it will be right in front of you. It’s in the same building as Tiffany’s, 8th floor. It is all you can eat and both times we ordered the regular beef and pork set for 90 min at 2, 600 yen. You get two choices of broth and a veggie bar to choose from. We tried all except the kimchee. I found the sukiyaki to be the best and for something different, try the collagen one! Yum. Add on soft drinks for an extra 400 yen and you won’t be disappointed in their offerings. There is a small selection of ice cream for dessert as well! The meats are sliced perfectly thin and comes out fresh, not frozen. They have a wide array of vegetables to choose from and Nabe-zo does a good job at replenishing their supply and keeping the bar clean. Not to mention, the veggies are super fresh as well! Service was great and English menus are available! It was the perfect comfort food for a cold winters night. Check them out!

First of all, this place takes four people, a map and Google to locate. The key is to get out of the right side of Shinjuku station. It’s in the building with the Tiffanys so it may be easier to locate that with Google maps. Take the 8th floor elevator up to the restaurant. The place does a thrifty business with locals and tourists alike. You choose a menu option and it’s buffet style. Delicious and interactive, so it’s a great experience for first timers to Japan.

We came here two years ago when we visited Japan. We loved it so much we had to come back again. The quality of beef and pork and veggies here is top notch. You can pay for«all you can drink soda» or standard drink ’ meaning you add some alcohol but without the beer. You can chose Japanese beef for regular beef. We picked Japanese beef — it was 4500YEN per person for all you can eat Japanese beef. Excellent service here as well! Highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome! First, the staff is super cool. We arrived around 2PM, so almost closed for the fondue, but they quickly helped us to understand how it works and showed us the buffet, etc. The place is nice, it’s very cosy. The price is ok, honestly it’s not that expensive and I really recommend that you try it before leaving Tokyo! As for the food, it is an explosion of various tastes! You can try a lot of things, and notably vegetables are grown locally, so only good things! The fondue in itself is fun and healthy — yes, that’s possible! Finally, they have great ice-creams for desert(included in the fondue /buffet price).

Oh yums! They have all you can eat hotpot for both 90 and 120 minutes with the choice of different meats which they will refill if you run out. This also comes with having to get all your own sides/drinks and they even have curry! :) They do have an English menu so that’s helpful too!

Thanks to the informative reviews, we sought out and rejoiced in this hidden gem. ***LOCATIONUPDATE: Exit from Shinjuku-sanchome station using A5. Directly across from the top of the exit stairs you’ll see the side of Tiffany’s, and face a small entrance to the other floors of the building. This restaurant is on the 8th floor, as advertised on the lit tower of signs outside the building.(The H&M may have been at that ground level previously, but last night there was no H& M but a Tiffany’s and L’Occitane.) The food was decently delicious but the really special element was the whole shabu shabu experience. The loud 90s American pop music was a funny juxtaposition to the servers exclaiming suddenly and loudly across the floor, for reasons we couldn’t decipher. The unlimited soda bar was a fun treat, with flavors like melon and barbados cherry. We skipped the ice cream bar, although I do enjoy the bizarre corn flavor among the options. We found the black bean-filled rice balls on the side bar buffet a satisfying and traditional dessert. The patient young waiter who bashfully explained to us the process in tripping English was also very generous to let me do a vegetable course while my husband did the beef & pork course. Evidently, the whole table is supposed to do the same course. The meat one is about 1200 yen more, so it was kind the waiter bent the rules. If you’re a vegetarian, note that all the broths have a meat stock, so you’ll have to choose the plain hot water and make it exciting with stuff from the bountiful spice bar.

We came here for the all-you-can-eat shabu shabu! The great view of Shibuya from above is just a bonus. You get to choose two broths — we got the shabu shabu and tonkotsu broths. The tonkotsu is much better(the shabu shabu is very light). There is good pork and beef, which along with the broth is really all we care about for shabu shabu. They also have veggies and udon as well as an assortment of other goods to spice up your soup. The services is good too — constant meat and broth refills, woohoo! Do note that the final orders are taken at 10:30PM.

Amazing all you can eat shabu-shabu place in the middle of Shinjuku. We came here for dinner and we had the beef+pork menu. The price is just 2,600 yen per person and you can also get all you can eat vegetables from the buffet, all the rice you want, spices, and sides! I left the place completely full and satisfied. The food is very good, vegetables are super fresh and the ambient is quiet and nice. Highly recommended!!!

AYCE shabu?! Why yes please! For about $ 22USD, you can choose up to two broths. You only get 90 minutes. If you want to pay a little more, you can extend the time. We got the standard shabu broth which literally tasted like water(not recommended!) and the tonkatsu broth which was super good but it got really salty towards the end from all the cooking. I like how they have a veggie and sauce bar for us to get whatever we like too!

YUM!!! All you can eat Sha Bu Sha Bu They will have to roll you out by the time you are done eating here. Love this place especially during lunch because it is so cheap. There is a raw veggie bar where you go and get all the veggies you want to put into your cooking broth, and the staff will bring you as much beef and pork as you want. I don’t need to rate the service because this is Japan and service is never bad here. If I could, I would jump on a plane right now just to come here to eat.
