Great staff and service here at the Marble Lounge in the lobby of the Hilton Tokyo. I was lucky enough to be here during the holidays where it was decorated so beautifully with lights and trees– so festive and calming. It was gorgeous and very comfy. I stopped by around 11pm to grab a drink, take a sit and just get some work done. The wifi is strong here from the hotel and plenty of tables to go around. They promptly seated me and handed me a menu. You can eat at anytime, drink anytime since the lounge is opened 24⁄7(first time I’ve ever been to hotel with such flexible service). I ordered a highball(22USD), and it was so smooth. Granted for the service and this single cocktail, I paid 2.5x what I would normally pay. So be forewarned that the prices here are through the roof, but you pay for convenience. I sat there through until about 2am and the staff were super friendly. They kept their distance as I had my headphones on. But whenever I looked up they made eye contact in case I needed something. The continental breakfast buffet is also held here in the mornings, which is a full spread of both Japanese and American breakfast. There’s even an omelet bar, as well as a full service expresso bar located downstairs, and fresh juice smoothies! The breakfast was delicious and included with our access to the executive lounge and room upgrade. Overall the feels in this area was super comfortable. I really enjoyed myself both during peak hours, and down time. I can’t say enough about the staff and the service. It can be pricey, but it was worth the experience.

This was a place located in the Hilton hotel. The food was pretty good with Both Japanese and some other Asian influences. The sushi was very good except there was a very limited supply and limited options. There are other options for seafood that was also authentic. Since it’s a buffet the portion size is dependent on you. The drinks were ok. I had green tea and that was pretty good. The water has some kind of different taste to it. The deserts were kind of disappointing except for the ice cream. That was very good. The atmosphere was open and was kind of annoying with being right in the hotel lobby. The staff was fairly good. They were polite but it took them some time to get to you.

Great staff at any hour. Good environment, food and drinks. Particularly enjoyed the Caesar salad and mango tea. Definitely a great place to unwind at any time if you don’t feel like venturing out of the hotel.

I wasn’t staying at the Hilton but I took my bf here to try out the buffet for his bday because we wanted a fancier environment and I had trouble finding a good place in Japan. The food area was a lot smaller than I expected. The kitchen closes at 9 so you have to get your food by then! The food was alright and the desserts were not that great. I also tried their ice cream but it was really gross. It doesn’t compare to American ice cream. My bf says it might be because the milk in Asian countries are not sweet and it tastes different? I believe it was about $ 45/person in USD. Not worth it for the price I paid. We should’ve just went to a fancy steak house.

Ice Tea Drama Most of the staff were great but had a big issue with two of the staff It went from a very relaxing meal to chest pains Most couldn’t communicate in English and some didn’t understand my Japanese even though I have lived here for 15 years and never have issues with simple communication I asked the lady at the drink bar for an ice tea and she said I had to order from a waiter(even though free) So a waiter walked by at that moment and I asked him and he went behind the bar with a big smile and poured me the ice tea(right beside the woman who wouldn’t) and handed it to me. She looked pissed So I wanted another ice tea later on and asked another waiter(I was sitting at my table) He couldn’t understand me and brought over a man in a suit. I then asked him what the big deal is to get an ice tea. He literally just stared at me I think he went into shock I went back to eating and tried to ignore the fact that he had frozen and was standing over me I put my headphones on and watched my movie and occasionally looked up to see if he had moved yet Finally he walked away and I still didn’t have my ice tea so I went to the front desk and a very sweet lady got me my ice tea Then the head of the lounge came over to apologize So it turned into a 30 minute fiasco to get my ice tea Then I stress ate

This is the main hotel restaurant/lounge at the Tokyo Hilton Hotel in Shinjuku. Our Diamond status allowed us to have the breakfast buffet for free for the duration of our stay.(Average price for breakfast is about $ 35USD). Though we only were able to enjoy the breakfast here, I know that the Marble Lounge is open 24/7, with full buffet open breakfast, lunch and dinner and also full menu/full bar service. As far as a breakfast buffet goes, this place is the real deal. When they say FULL breakfast, they mean FULL… with both Western and Japanese options. Breakfast features fresh pastries and breads, salads, fruits, and made-to-order egg/omelet bar. The Japanese items feature rice, rice porridge, pickled vegetables, miso soup, tamago, and several hot/stewed items.(If they have the cold tofu, this is a MUST as it is freshly made and very tasty.) And of course you have your scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, hash browns, and beans. The back of the buffet area features a juice/coffee section when they squeeze their signature smoothies or anything you want. You can order coffee/cappuccino type drinks from here as well or order them from one of the servers walking around. Love that drinks are included in the price of the meal as I always end up ordering 3 – 4 cappuccinos every morning !(Gotta get my moneys worth!) I would have given this place 5 stars but the seating bothers me a bit. True to its name, this place is still set up more like a lounge than an actual restaurant. For that reason, the seats/tables vary from size and arrangement. You could end up sitting on a couch or in a booth sometimes, which i feel is quite uncomfortable if you are trying to eat. Service was on point, as staff does not mess around.
