Yummy! Theres hardly any beefy joints in Japan if you know what I mean. Its really hard to find a good steak joint without over spending on kobe beef or wagyu beef. But this is a good steak joint! Its kinda different from what you’re used to, besides it being a stand up restaurant you choose the weight and cut of your order and the chef does it right in front of you. On my first venture here I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. Probably one of the best I ever had. They served it on a hot plate and have unlimited beef drippings to garnish or taste your steak. One of the better real beefy places you can go to in Japan. Definately will come back for other cuts! Love that grill smoked flavor.

Ever wanted to buy your own weight in steak? Well here you can! Well technically anyway. This place sell the steak by the gram. Their recommended sizes are 200 – 300 grams but if you want more or less it’s not a problem. First thing you do is go up to the order counter where you let them know how much you want and which type of meat you like. Then they cut and weigh it in front of you. The meat is super fresh and 100% American Angus. They cook it for you accessing to your preference. This place is also different in the way that there are no seats. It’s all standing, like at a bar. Fast steak coming up! I got the 300 gram rib roast steak and it worked out to be under ¥2000 yen(¥6/gram), which isn’t super cheap but for GOOD steak in Tokyo that’s a great price and this steak wasn’t the think cut, half fat bs you usually get here, it was a proper steak. A huge chunk of it! I was very pleased and will definitely go back for another steak fix! So should you! Enjoy!
