Delicious and cheap! Yet another restaurant in Tokyo that offers lunch special. There are 3 types of lunch sets for 1000 – 1200 yen each. They have an English menu! I ordered the single set which came with rice or naan, Cole slaw and one curry. I choose naan and butter chicken(additional 100 yen). My husband got the Bombay set(double set) which came with rice and naan, coleslaw and two curries. He ordered butter chicken and chicken korma! The restaurant is spacious and has nice, large tables for parties of 4. They have statues for décor and burn incense which gives Bombay an authentic India vibe. Our food was delivered on traditional metal plates. I’ve never had naan so buttery! You could literally see the melted butter! But it was so delicious as was the butter chicken. Tummies were left full for just about $ 10 usd! At home(Hawaii) you’d never find a lunch plate with butter chicken this cheap! I definitely recommend Bombay!

After visiting several curry places in Osaka, I got a little picky with the taste. I had the chance to met a friend last weekend and since she does not eat meat we have to find a place that we both can enjoy. I gave her several places to choose from thru Unilocal, around Shinjuku area and she decided to eat in this place because some people gave a 5-star. Unfortunately, for me it is not 5-star. It’s about 3.5. Dinner set has an average price of 1500 yen which consists of 2 curry, a small rice and Nan. My friend of course got the Vegetable set and I got the Tandori Chicken set. The place has a nice ambiance and spacious enough. The toilet is way outside though. Our orders came in less than 10 minutes which is great since we were famished. It’s a nice enough place to grab some dinner with friends.

Delicious food! Hard to find the place, it is in the basement of the hotel, and that too hidden in the back. Great food though!
