This is a little jewel box of a restaurant, within easy walking distance of Ebisu(use the river as your geographic point of reference). I went for lunch, and enjoyed one of the most economical options, the falafel set, which included a savory vegetable soup, hummus, falafel, salad, and fried potatoes(approximately 1200 yen). Owner/chef Dan was very pleasant. My only slight quibble is that because the restaurant is so small, others conversations can overpower your meal. I happened to pop in at a time that a group of American corporate bros were loudly discussing their mergers and acquisitions. Not altogether the most peaceful accompaniment to my lovely meal, but thus it was. I enjoyed the hummus so much that I took an additional take away container of it home. I will be back!

This place is great! The food is delicious! It’s the best hummus I’ve found in Tokyo! The staff is super friendly! They have great lunch sets and the dinner menu is perfect and affordable. It’s a small restaurant that fills up quickly, so I’d recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. It’s a bit tricky to find from the station though! Loved this place and can’t wait to go back.
