I come to Shiroichi everytime I visit Shibuya in Japan! Their Ice Cream is more like ice that melts in your mouth! Not to mention, the super looooonnnng ice cream extended from the tiny cone is really fun to eat! This time I came in winter. It’s freezing cold, but the heavenly Ice Cream still tastes great!(At least the Ice Cream won’t melt under this cold weather!) They used to have a tiny store space next door. When I visited this year, I am glad to find out that they have expanded to a bigger store right next door. They have seating, and you can also get self-serve water from there.

I usually like soft ice cream in Japan. This place has ice-milk. They offer a variation where the icemilk comes in a cup of coffee. If you are expecting a creamy ice cream you will be disappointed. If you like icy milk it’s fine I guess — one of my friends likes it a lot. The optional coffee tasted burnt. Main reason for low star is the service. They are, imho, quite slow due to inefficient procedure. Really, it takes almost 10 minutes per customer just to take the order, put the ice cream on the cone, and hand it over the counter. Combined with the tight space and negligible seating it’s not so comfortable.
