This restaurant is fabulous. The fish is incredible, the service is wonderful and the dessert menu has some classics!

Most delicious seafood I’ve had in Tokyo. Try the sea urchin crostini and the sea bass with green curry. Out of this world. Crete brûlée was a lovely way to end a memorable dinner.

These guys have the right idea! Very personable and on the ball. They engaged us with conversation, on where we were from etc. The food was our favorite, so far! Excellent carpaccio and ahi tuna! If you are in the area, please check out this place — you will not be disappointed! A solid 5 stars!

Oh damn. Walking into the restaurant was like walking out of Tokyo and into an upscale Western dining establishment. It had a beachy, calm, rich sorta vibe. With a giant fish on the wall. I wasn’t expecting that, but it was a nice little change. They speak English, and had a menu in English, that was useful. We had a group of 4 and walked in 30 minutes prior to closing. We were stopped at the door and told we could come in but would have to order immediately. They were super friendly about it, so it was fine. It’s a small place, maybe two large tables, and a large booth, with extra seats around the bar. We were seated next to a group of 6 who were also from America. How do I know? Because they were speaking loudly, so loud the veins on their throats were popping. Oh and they also mentioned how they wouldn’t move back to America because of how dirty and disgusting it is. One woman kept talking about«oh my god, I flew to Korea for dinner the week before,» and«oh my god, I should produce another reality show.» The guy to my left felt free to rest his elbow on the back of my chair. Twice I leaned back into it and he didn’t move. Third time I had to tell him to get off my shit. Douche bags. I’m blabbing about this to give you a taste of the type of customers. In the booth was another large group of tourists. I think I would have enjoyed an establishment with more locals, they’re much friendlier! On to the food. Fried oysters good, not great. Scallops on a bed of lentils had so much potential. The lentils were the star, not the scallops. We also had seared ahi tuna and lobster risotto for entrees. They got my ahi tuna order wrong and brought me prawns. I should have kept it since my ahi tuna was really under seasoned. It needed salt. The risotto was creamy and delicious, but also lacked salt. It’s a very cute restaurant, and the service was quite good. The food was a bit disappointing and main reason for a 3 rating.

Cozy place. Great service and great food Plus very gaijin friendly which is why you will see a lot of foreigners. English is spoken here and the food is very nice My favorite are lobster risotto and tuna tartare. Tako(octopus) jelly is also very unique. Price is in the medium range.

I’m so glad that I stumbled upon this restaurant. There’s a familial element that is felt immediately upon walking in and Yui & Lui certainly have the right skill set to make anyone feel welcome! It’s a really great dynamic and they are genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The entire staff was so friendly that I felt incredibly comfortable. It was my birthday the next day and Lui served me cake and had the entire restaurant join in on singing me happy birthday when he found out! I love the open kitchen experience where you can watch Lui work his magic. You can tell that he really enjoys cooking and creating dishes. The food is delicious — simply put; we scraped the plates clean. You will not be disappointed. Seriously, really fine dining but not pretentious or snobbish. I firmly believe that a good dining experience goes beyond the food and involves the totality of everything from the ambiance, staff, interactions with other patrons/workers, price, etc. Cedros has the perfect combination of it all for an A+ rating. I’ve been lucky enough to dine in fabulous restaurants in more than 25 countries and this is the only one that I have gone back to during the same trip. I encourage you to go!

If you’re in Tokyo then you CANNOT miss Cedros! Run by two brothers and influenced by their time spent in Southern California, Cedros provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with incredible food. Everything on their menu is made with such care and passion for perfection. I went for lunch and enjoyed a mouthwatering lobster burrito. I grew up in San Diego and I would prefer Lui(the chefs) seafood over any restaurant at home any day! Take one look at the photo gallery on their website and you will drool.

This is the best restaurant that I have visited in Tokyo. It reminded me of a cool, neighborhood place in New York or LA. It is comfortable and unpretentious, but oh my — the seafood is truly outstanding. Yui & Lui are the two young brothers that own the restaurant, with Lui being an accomplished chef that has worked around the world. These two guys are the best, and made us feel like family. We had an assortment of items that we shared around the table including raw oysters, fresh carpaccio with citrus vinaigrette, Mediterranean couscous, Fisherman’s stew, Caesar salad with thinly sliced cured salmon(with THEBEST Caesar dressing!) and a grilled snapper filet. Everything was truly outstanding. My son and I love to travel to Tokyo and I am so pleased to have found an excellent western style seafood restaurant(I can only eat so much sushi!). We will definitely return. This is a recently opened restaurant and I am sure it will be a great success. Keep up the good work, guys!
