Oh boy do I love a bowl of their tonkotsu ramen to end a night of drinking with my friends. Isshin is a little ramen shop that opens until late with Shoinjinja station(on the Setagaya line) as the closest station. I usually take a 10−15mins stroll there from Sangenjaya(depending in how tipsy I get). Tonkotsu, for those who are not familiar with Japanese is a ramen soup base made from pork bone. Isshin’s tonkotsu ramen is thick yet smooth and never too heavy even in the wee hours of the night. Yum yum!
