I used this place for a cooking party with my friends. This is about 3 minute walk from the station near the Shoin Temple. The cooking room is wide enough for 20 people. We booked this room from 12 to 5 pm and enjoy cooking Gyoza, soup, salad and rice balls. It was cozy for cooking and chatting. There are enough tables and chairs. And the best thing is that it has warm floor so that we do not feel cold even in winter! And the gas rings are the newest version. It has several kinds of dishes and frying pans and pots. We just need to bring our own food and some seasonings. You can also get mineral water for free. So we used it for soup luxuriously. As you can see from my pictures, this room is very clean. It has a comfortable atmosphere so that we could enjoy cooking like what we usually do at home. I have not known this place before, so I do not think many people know it. The organizer of this event even did not know. His friend recommended him it. The owner told us there are some cooking classes on weekdays for anyone. The fee is about 2500 to 3500 yen depending on the menu. You can learn from the specialists how to make delicious bread or sweets or anything. I am thinking to join some of them during my vacation. It is a pity that if you work or have classes on weekdays it would be quite hard to attend those classes. My friends and I requested to have some events on weekends as well so that more people would be able to come. And the owner said all right, she would think about it. I think those events is good not only because you can learn how to cook but also you might be able to make some friends who is interested in cooking or have some same interests. I like those events where I can meet someone I do not know but can be my good friends.
