Such a cool off-the-beaten-path kind of place. It’s off a small street/alley, yet is extremely warm and welcoming, like a beacon of light in the dark. Not a huge beer selection by American standards, but a nice well formed listing and all Japanese crafts. The bartender was really nice and did his best to explain what was on tap. They also have a large selection of spirits, including Japanese scotch. They also have some eats, including a delightful Japanese take on fish and chips. The tempura fried cod was perfectly done, with quality fish and the perfect slightly sweet crisp. Fries were tasty too. My wife had the teriyaki chicken and said it was so-so. Definitely recommend the fish and chips though. The people inside were a diverse mix, ranging from a group of businessmen to a few tourists to a girls night out. Service was fantastic. Small and cozy, it’s the perfect place to retire after a long day to relax with a Japanese craft drink.
