This was the absolute best place to stay in Kyoto. It’s literally 1 minute walk across the street from Kyoto station which is also the terminal for all the buses that will take you around Kyoto. The room is the standard small like any hotel in Japan, and the service is absolutely stellar. The rooms come with yukatas/robes, slippers, hot boiled water for complimentary tea and all the toiletries you need. Very comfortable spot and they have a few restaurants of different cuisines on the main floor. Luggage check service so you don’t have to lug your stuff to the station in a hot locker. I had no complaints about this hotel, and would absolutely recommend it. Check out the shelves near the entrance for print outs of «useful phrases in Japan,» that were very helpful for us.

What can I say… I’m a push over when it comes to awesome service from the doorman to the host who sat us for breakfast. The rooms are very clean, water pressure is good, and the toilet is amusing. The plachotel to eggy location is convenient hug to shopping at Aeon Mall and Kyoto Train station is just across the street. There are so many places to eat andjjuhn eat and eat! Did I mention 4 levels of shopping at Aeon Mall. I recommend this Hotel.

One of few highlights/perks of this hotel is the location to the Kyoto train station, just a couple minute walk and our tours picked us up there. Now when I booked, I reserved what to be a renovated room since all«newly» added rooms were booked, not a big deal however the only thing that seemed to be new was a small flat screen TV.(they did renovate the lobby I’m sure that’s where they put all their money in. it immediately led you to have better expectations of the rooms) The room still smelled like smoke even though I reserved nonsmoking, the ac didn’t work, the bed was hard I am sure they used something similar to a box spring and a piece of cardboard on the top and the pillow was so hard it was like a log it had no cushion(I even sat on it to try to see the flexibility it stayed firm) I have traveled all around the world and this place was a big disappointment. If you are looking for comfort this us not the place if you only want accessibility just bring your own pillow. Otherwise I do not recommend this place.

Very convenient location as it’s literally across the street from the train station and transportation is very easy to get around from. The Japanese breakfast is amazing!

The hotel is very close to Kyoto Station. I booked the premium floor, my previous experience with this hotel that the regular room is too small for two people with a few luggages. The décor is a little bit old and nothing really fancy, but it’s clean. The hotel provides slippers, some basic amenities such as shower cap, combs, cotton buds. The food in this hotel both dinner and breakfast is quite average. The best part of the hotel is the convenience to the five minutes Kyoto station and also bus station to explore Kyoto. No excuse for not missing the train!

They are remolding and the upgrades are fabulous! My favorite is the new japanese and western food buffet where allergies are clearly labeled with pictures for patrons.

Located just opposite the AMAZING Kyoto railway station complex, and a 10 minute walk from bus station this hotel is very central for the tourist.
