As soon as I entered the cooking class I already felt that it’ll be a great one. First the teacher will give the participants the hand writing cooking recipes. The recipes are colorful and useful with cute illustrations drawn by the teacher. I attended with my foreigner friend, and the teacher had kindly explained some parts in English(The teacher can speak English and if you tell her before, she will prepare the recipes English). Then we start to make 7 Japanese dishes, using local vegetables and Japanese seasoning. The teacher also tells us how to make the dishes in various ways. For example, if I run out of particular condiments, she had told me some other alternative things to use. I like the way the teacher had told us how to use some techniques and ingredients for other dishes. After finishing the cooking, we had the food at the class. It was very nice to have food there with other participants and getting to know new people that I can’t meet usually. The class room it self has nostalgic and warm atmosphere with beautiful interiors. The class will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Morning class 10:00−13:00 Noon class 18:00– 21:00 Saturday and Sunday Morning class 10:00– 13:00 Noon class 16:00– 19:00 Lesson with group will be 4500 yen including the materials and recipes. Personal and special occasional lesson will be 6000 yen.
