Please see the previous review at the Soraen Sora Coppice spot. Rewriting this review to reflect Coppice in general. Coppice is a new wave department store concept in Japan — it’s more like a mall stuck into an old department store. Why? There are tons of fashion and specialty shops offering a wide range of products from baby goods, designer clothes, name-brand accessories, even outdoor/extreme sports goods. The basement floor features the traditional food vendors(look for samples!) and a mix of restaurants. It’s a weird combination as you can tell which establishments are new and others have been around forever. That said, lots of specialty import foods can be had at Kaldi, very nice pure milk ice cream from the Hokkaido dairy place and my favorite, fresh phở at Com Phở. The wood deck on the first floor often has live band performances. Grab you favorite ice cream at Ben&Jerrys or bubble tea drink at Moomin Stand and enjoy the show. Of note is the nice hidden away Musashino Art Museum — please see the separate check-in spot and review. (Photos here taken at the rooftop deck Soraen Sora on top of the south wing.)
