Now serving breakfast! A while ago when I stayed at this hotel, they had two choices for breakfast. Japanese style Western food buffet, or traditional Japanese breakfast. I was on the elevator thinking what to eat for breakfast and I was happy to know their Chinese restaurant is now open for breakfast.(Was listed on the hotel room key). I think this was a recent change as the sign on the first floor of this building didn’t include breakfast hours. I was in Japan for a week by the time I arrived at this hotel and I wasn’t interested in the same type of food anymore. When I sat down, the staff brought me a menu. It took me a while to figure out but they serve some dishes on buffet style and also you can order from the breakfast menu. Each portion size is very small(menu doesn’t say so) but based on the reaction I saw on my server when I ordered just one dish, I figured the portion is small. I ended up ordering three from the menu and sure enough they were almost like a bite size, literally I ate one dish in three bites. Buffet food was good too, fresh fruits(really loved lychee!), vegetables, noodles, spring rolls, and some dim sum steamed buns. I also enjoyed jasmine hot tea. They had oolong tea too but I stayed with my favorite jasmine tea. They accept breakfast voucher if your hotel stay includes breakfast or charge to your room. Price is the same as the other two breakfast restaurants at the hotel. Can’t remember the exact price but ended up being about 24 or 25USD at the time of currency exchange rate. Good service, good food. It’s not really breakfast food I imagined or am used to but I was happy to eat what was served.
