Sazanka is a classy place. Very proper teppanyaki. I don’t eat meat, so I ordered the seafood set, which was very good. It was a pre-fixe menu of sorts, featuring a lovely seaweed salad(of four varieties), scallops, fish, crab, lobster, vegetables, garlic rice, miso soup, etc. It was a lot of food… The miso soup was a standout. I know you’re probably thinking, well anyone can make that. And, I’m sure they can. But this miso soup was nothing like I’ve had before. It was new, interesting, and umami. Also, the sauces they provide for dipping are also very good and went well with the cooked items. After dinner, they guide you to the sitting area where you have dessert and tea. I got the baked custard, which is really a crème brûlée with vanilla ice cream. Who knew the combo was such a good idea.
