Pretty convenient to Shinagawa station central exit. We ate here a couple of times and enjoyed both. The curry dishes were a bit sweet for our taste — not sure if that is more catered for Japanese taste in Indian food. The daal, saag paneer, and especially the tikka items — seekh kebab and tandoori chicken — were where this place really shines. Our impression of those is that it is closer to Indian food you get in India than to the Indian food in the USA. In a good way. We were impressed by the spices. The rice was not basmati — usually this is a big issue for me, but in this case I wonder if Japanese people are not receptive to basmati. That would be one of the few cases under which I’d consider it okay to serve some other rice. They were apparently North Indian, speak Hindi, Japanese, and at least some English(we mostly spoke Hindi to them, did not think to check on English, sorry).
