If you like eating donburi(Japanese rice bowl), you’ve got to give this joint a try. They don’t skimp on the meat here and you get a very large portion for your buck. You place your order by selecting what you want on their ticket machine which is located just inside the restaurant. This machine has no English words on it, but don’t worry, you can just wave down a waitress and she will come over to help you to select what you want to eat. The place was jam packed when I got there, I ordered their Sutadon(garlic taste pork belly bowl) with extra meat and rice. I seated myself down in one of their tight spaces and soon afterwards, my rice bowl was ready. It came with a raw egg and miso soup, all for ¥880. Be warned though, they don’t like you take picture of their place. One of the cooks actually came over and told me «NOPHOTOS». The place was full and it was kind of embarrassing when the guy came out and talked to me. The place is easy to find. 2 minutes walk south of the JR Shinagawa Station’s Takanawa/west exit.
