MEATMAN is one of those places you could book pretty much any day at any time whenever you want to but is reasonable(price-wise) and decent. The atmosphere is good too so you can bring someone on a date. They not only serve different kinds of meats on a stick(beef, pork, chicken) but grilled vegetable sticks, so vegetarians can come and enjoy the food as well. I strongly recommend their beef dishes/sticks, cheese sticks, and oil/garlic-based pasta with whitebait on top. It’s very good. It’s located very close to the Roppongi station and easy to find. They are used to dealing with non-Japanese customers so you shouldn’t have too much problem ordering what you want.

Planned a girls’ night out and called ahead for reservations. They speak English and have an English menu, which was much appreciated. The food was delicious – everything from the salad to the skewers of meat. Drink options were plentiful and the place was busy but not loud so our group was able to hear each other talk. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone.

Meat on a stick. All kinds of meat on a stick. Cheese on a stick. Veggies on a stick. All grilled and seasoned to perfection. Great salads and wonderful steak entrée. My entrée was taking longer than expected, so the chef sent out some surprise meats on a stick. Unbeknownst to me, it was tongue and heart. Chewies aren’t for me, but everything else was great. The chicken meatballs and mustard coleslaw was delicious.

If I need one word to describe my experience there: «happiness». That is exactly how I felt at the end of my dinner. And slightly sad to leave the place. Definitely going back! They had amazing food options. Really creative yakitoris. Classic menu is also available in English and daily offerings might also be available in English as well. Supreme lion one was divine — the softest beef I had in my life and it was complementary for me to try! Bacon wrapped asparagus was so good that I ordered a second and then only reason I did not order more was because I was ashamed to say more. One of the daily specials I got recommended –fish wrapped around vegis– also very yummy. And a brilliant ending with tofu cheese cake with maple syrup. But of course it is not only about food. They nice music cosy atmosphere and have the friendliest staff ever. With the cook we chatted about where I come from and his visit there — despite our lack of common language — through photos. Another waitresses had great English and made sure everything is okey very frequently, chatted with me even after her shift she made me try her order. Leaving the place I almost felt like I am leaving an old friend behind.

Cool and inventive yakitori place. Very friendly staff who accommodates some regulars from the Roppongi nightlife scene and some trendy employees on a corporate team binging night. We chose the 6 sticks selection of the day and ordered spinach salad with bacon and running egg, some croquettes, grilled Camembert, some kind of veggies rolled into a thin slice of grilled beef and served with a raw yoke. Dessert was a Crème Brûlée «à la torche» done at your table, and an interesting tofu cheese cake served with brown sugar syrup, red berries and toasted slices of baguette. Okaike for 2 including 1 draft beer and 1 ume chu? ¥7,250 — not bad right?

You can’t go wrong with a place called meat man, that served skewers of meat. Skirt steak, chicken meatballs, chicken livers were all great. The grilled avocado changed it up a bit. Friendly group of people and cold beer. Best meal so far in Tokyo.
