Kamikaze House

Unfortunately, we gave this place a try based on the only other review, which must have been written by someone who was already blitzed. First, the drinks we ordered (Moscow mules) were poorly done. Don’t order anything here but the most basic drinks! Also, the microwaved food was still cold when it was served.

So, have you found a place to enjoy quality Buffalo Wings in Tokyo?

There is a theory that further you venture out from Buffalo, NY, the quality does down that much. Which means that Buffalo Wings in Tokyo is something you want to avoid.
That was, true, until I found Kamikaze House near Kamiyacho Subway Station.
They do the wings right.
None of those breaded wings offered at some of the chain establishments to make the chicken look bigger. They deep fry them the right way.
As for the sauce, excellent! I’ve tried the hot garlic flavor and it was great!
BEER: They offered three beers on tap — one of which was Brew Dog! 335ml was 1000 Yen.
ATMOSPHERE: I love their street corner location. I went in the middle of the summer and they had all the sliding doors open, creating a nice outdoor like environment. It was a perfect summer night atmosphere over beer.
OVERALL: No, don’t go here for gourmet food. This is where you eat junky bar food like hot dog and wings. I am not a food critic. I review places based on various factors, not just their food quality. Could cheese sticks been better if there was more cheese than crumbs? Yes. Was the salsa with chips a bit too watery? Yes. But did I tell you about their tasty wings? I know that some foodie sites place 100% of their reviews based solely on the quality of the food, but that is not how I review. When a place like Kamikaze House provides a unique space where you have cool atmosphere is tasty draft beer with a store owner that cares, I give it 5 Stars. This is an awesome hangout bar.
