Loved it. Tofu, apparently the house speciality was incredible and different then anything I have had before. Almost like a buratta. Yummy. Everything else was great, fish fantastic, soba delightful, a desert of red bean, ice cream, green tea and rice balls that my wife and I split and already talking about getting our own next time we are there in a couple of days. Highly recommend… oh, and it was also a tremendous value. Less than $ 70 including drinks

A very convient spot to enjoy a more traditional Japanese meal. Just downstairs from the main walkway between Shinagawa Station and the Prince Hotels is a great hall if restaurants. One of these, En I think is one of my favorite quick stops for something more traditional. There’s a little something for everyone and I’ve also found the staff to be very helpful when someone’s appitie is a little more demanding. I’ve never been for dinner, but I’ve always enjoyed my lunch. Great environment and good quality. If the typical Tokyo lunch lines mean anything then you should know this spot tends to have a good size one at peak times. My word of advice to the western traveler. Just because its in the basement of a hotel area doesn’t mean its poor quality. ;-) Enjoy!

Most staff speaks English and are friendly. The real Japanese food. Lunch set will be served with Miso soup, some small Japanese dish and rice.

A little gem! We were seated towards the back of this huge restaurant and not bothered by any smokers.(Don’t even know if they allow smokers! It was that nice!) Small portions but tasty! House made tofu a must!
