If you want to eat medium quality and spend 200 $, this the right place. Really a bad choice.

Ajikaido Gojustsugi is one of 7 restaurants above the Prince Hotel in fabulous Shinagawa. On the 38th floor, their view is fabulous overlooking the Tokyo Tower and Skytree! Our host did all the ordering and I’m so glad she did as everything that came to our table was not only delicious but beautifully presented! Seriously, everything was like a work of art! We had sashimi, tempura, shabu shabu and dish upon dish of little eats! Talk about variety! We literally had 50 little dishes on our table! The service here was also excellent as our tea cups were never empty and someone was always nearby if we needed anything else! We came hungry but left with just a little more appetite for dessert! I definitely recommend this place if you’re in Tokyo. This place is very conveniently located by the Shinagawa train station where you can people watch as you plan on what delicious dishes you are going to eat once you get here! I’ll be back! See you here!

This was a great surprise! I though I would have to go into Tokyo for sushi, rarely does a hotel environment offer great options. This is definite the exception. I was greeted warmly by the staff. They were very helpful with the menu. Everything I had was fresh and well prepared by happy chefs. I tried three grads of outstanding tuna, tuna roll, octopus, salmon, Amaebi, yellowtail. In fact I went back two nights later. The restaurant also offer a great view of Tokyo, this is a great find. Enjoy!

The restaurant is located on the 38th floor of the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in which we were staying. My husband had dined here once before during a business trip and was stoked to show it to me. The restaurant was lovely, with beautiful decorations and unbelievable views of Tokyo. The reason why this restaurant stood out was that it offered traditional shabu-shabu. Now, that being said, we do not eat land animals, so the waiter immediately offered ours with fish, which is not on the menu. I definitely felt like an idiot since I was a shabu-shabu virgin, but I quickly got the hang of it. Lots of fresh, crisp vegies, thick tofu and a variety of white fish went into the boiling hot tub on our table with a tasty broth as the bath water. It was delicious, satisfying, and a fun experience! Expensive and worth it!
