Visited this a few days ago, because it got good reviews on travel bloggers websites, and also because it gives a pretty good multiplier on my Hyatt credit card. Service was very good. The burgers are huge, by Tokyo standards. Flavors are average, again by Tokyo standards…(heck, «Freshness Burger» is way better than the chain restaurants in the states), which is to say they’re really quite good. The salad had fresh ingredients, though was probably not worth ¥300. If you’re a Hyatt GP member with the card, and in the neighborhood(or staying at Andaz), then I recommend it.

As an American staying in Tokyo, I hate to say it, but I wanted a burger! And thin, crispy fries! So sue me – I know, I know, I’m surrounded by delicious Japanese food but sometimes a girl just wants a taste from home which oddly I got at Bebu. Disclaimer: I’m a vegetarian or pescatarian(I know, booooring) so I was a bit bummed when I got a hold of the menu and didn’t see a veggie burger option at a burger joint(hello Bebu chef, hint hint!), so I «settled» for the Thai burger: a seasoned fish cake with a kind of Thai papaya slaw on top of it. Plus the bun was delicious! And the fries: crisp, thin, salty. I even got a Coke! Service here was very attentive and friendly. The space is unique – big, giant street-side windows and lots of other young diners. I enjoyed the modernity. It’s Tokyo for god sake! Gimme a good burger in a spaceship any day :)

The lunch set here is unbeatable for value and quality in a fancy upscale new complex. 1800 yen buys you a fresh salad, burger & fries and a fruit sundae dessert. The burger is nothing to write home about, but it’s still solid and has good flavor and a nice bun. The restaurant is at street level along a stretch of windows, and it’s nice to be able to look out and watch the people go by. I would definitely come back for lunch. If you’re wanting a break from Japanese food in Tokyo, there are a number of good burger joints around town. However, they won’t offer this kind of deal. The surrounding complex, which includes other restaurants, bars, shops and a beautiful hotel, are worth walking around as well. The main pastry shop attached to the hotel, and on the same street side as this restaurant, is also worth a peek inside. Their stuff is beautiful and I bought a delicious yuzu marmalade.
