Delicious, if somewhat pricy Chinese food by way of Japan. The service was outstanding and the internal atmosphere manages to be both formal and relaxing. Tranquil in a soft jazz idiom. The portions were a bit small, yet delicate and well executed. I dont think that I have ever eaten a tastier garlic greens and the crab Corn soup was divine. The mixed drinks, however, were fairly mundane, but I give them some degree of forgiveness for the ostentatious presentation. In a restaurant like this one, the price tag is meant to keep a certain crowd away, but its hard to forgive completely when the value is not quite there. Especially when down the street in Ebisu are a hundred hole in the wall restaurants with a much better value for the meal. Still, I enjoyed my meal and providing it was on an expense account, would return.
