I think the taiyaki from Wakaba is much better but this place was also really good! Considering it’s Tennen Taiyaki, it’s already a step above normal ones: D but what I liked most about this one was the anko. The anko inside isn’t very sweet but still has a lot of beans inside to give a more natural adzuki bean taste. The shell(or bread portion) was a bit too thin, too dry and too burnt for me :(that’s not to say it wasn’t good but compared to Wakaba I was a bit disappointed. Also, if you visit this place, you’ll likely have to stay in line for quite a while(like 15~20). It’s popular and the taiyaki takes time to make because each one is made one by one. But it’s definitely worth the wait, especially if you’re in the area, to get this traditional style snack: D

¥200 for cookie filled with sweet beans. Eat on the road is the Ningyo cho style. You have to wait on the line at least 20 minutes to get. Tai-yaki represents the shape of this cookie. It baked with the fish shape, snapper. Japanese words for tai reminds most of Japanese«happy». Tai-yaki is like a casual sweets for wish you happy. Closed on Sundays.
