For taiyaki considering its location and easy access this place is one of my favorites. The crest/bread part is crispy and not too sweet which is how I like it best! If you go be sure to try both favors. I prefer the anko one(red bean paste) but the cream filling is pretty good too. The anko one isn’t too sweet and has a good consistency. The cream one is like eating vanilla pudding and the flavor is much stronger and sweeter than the standard one. If you’re not a huge fan of anko, this is another way to enjoy Japanese sweets! In general… There are a few negative points about this place that prevented the 5 star rating. One is that you have to eat it pretty much right after its made! If you plan to take it back your home or hotel it’s good taste won’t last that long… The first time I had it I made that mistake. The bread part becomes extremely soggy and even when put in the oven again it’s just not the same as when it’s fresh! The other negative thing about this place is it is in a pretty shady area. Right next door is a «consulting» business that basically introduces you to «massage» like places… It’s not dangerous just it’s not the best area to hang out at night. At least not for a girl like me: D
