Ten-Ichi, Tokyo, Ginza location. best tempura ever! You dine at an 8 seat counter style bar, with the tempura chef preparing and cooking your meal in a custom wok style fryer. The combination of freshly prepared foods, clean, hot oils in a «fryer» that can hold heat up to 500 degrees eliminates any residual oils on your tempura. Tempura A+, Service A, Ambiance A. however, the price is very expensive($ 110 to $ 140US Dollars per person). Ten ichi has spoiled us and I now cannot eat tempura anyplace else

Made to order tempura with really high quality, fresh ingredients. Even their dessert is amazing. Lunch starts at about ¥9000(including tax), and I think dinner costs around ¥150,000 and up. Also, I think there’s some sort of discount if you go at 4pm. Basically(for lunch) you get salad, about 8 different tempura ingredients(depends on which menu set you get, but basically 4 seafood and 4 vegetable items), rice, soup, pickled vegetables, dessert. Go hungry because it’s A LOT of food. They don’t really speak English, so I recommend having the hotel call to make reservations for you. Also, they charge for no shows.
