Had a fantastic and simple weekend lunch here. Beef tongue, rice, oxtail soup, lightly pickled greens and a small beef appetizer dish. All tasted fabulous. The tongue itself was juicy, not too chewy, and full of flavor. Certainly the highlight of the meal, as it should be as the centerpiece. The rice had a nice mix of barley and rice grains that complemented the main meal. The oxtail soup had a nice broth not overly seasoned and not too watered down – definitely a refreshing touch to the lunch set. The small beef cube appetizer was fantastic. I detected a hint of fermentation action that definitely hit a high note.
